Building a "BOX" truss stand. Materials list: 4 top rails (Select length as desired) 4 right angle corners 24 bolts (1/4 0R 5/16 recommended) 24 nuts (to fit) 24washers (to fit) Attach top rails to corners using 3 nuts and bolts at each junction. 10 This structure is designed to be hung from a ceiling or other overhead. The design is limited only by your needs and imagination. It is easy to see that by adjusting the lengths of the top rails, you may go from a square to a rectangle with little effort. Forming a square and hanging it at a 45 degree angle to the area in which it is placed transforms your square into a diamond shape. Dimensions are unlimited if you follow the recommnded practice for supporting the structure which is; place a support hanger at every junction inclusive of those used to lengthen a straight stretch. NOTE: Each corner junction will add approximately 1 foot to the length of your rails so you would use rails 2 feet shorter than your desired finished dimension. For example; an 8 foot square would require 4 right angle corners and 4 six foot rails. You will also note that all components are manufactured and measured in metric lengths which do not convert exactly to common measurements using standard feet and inches. If you require assistance please contact us with a diagram or dimensions and we will be happy to produce a materials requirement list and a cost estimate for the components to complete your project. Exact measurements can be built but with considerable increased cost due to custom cutting and assembly.
