Building a "BOX" truss stand. (Modified) The modified BOX TRUSS assembly is accomplished simply by replacing the four right angle corners with four right angle corners with legs. The assembly is then hung with the leg extensions up. The purpose of this assembly is to show the versatility of the TRUSS components. From this assembly you need only add four legs and you have a free standing 4 legged enclosure that is stable and secure for hanging lights and effects machines. Materials list: 4 top rails (Select length as desired) 4 right angle corners (wih legs) 36 bolts (1/4 0R 5/16 recommended) 36 nuts (to fit) 36 washers (to fit) Attach top rails to corners using 3 nuts and bolts at each junction. Attach legs. NOTE: Each corner junction will add approximately 1 foot to the length of your rails so you would use rails 2 feet shorter than your desired finished dimension. For example; an 8 foot square would require 4 right angle corners and 4 six foot rails. You will also note that all components are manufactured and measured in metric lengths which do not convert exactly to common measurements using standard feet and inches. If you require assistance please contact us with a diagram or dimensions and we will be happy to produce a materials requirement list and a cost estimate for the components to complete your project. Exact measurements can be built but with considerable increased cost due to custom cutting and assembly.
