Building a basic backdrop truss stand. Materials list: 1 top rail (Select length as desired) 2 legs (Select Height as desired) 2 right angle corners 1 2 bolts (1/4 0R 5/16 recommended) 12 nuts (to fit) 12 washers (to fit) Simply attach the two corners to the top rail with 3 nuts and bolts at each junction. Attach the two legs with three nuts and bolts at each junction. Stand the assembly up and you are ready to go. ( different lengths may be joined to increase span or height) (a span greater than 16 feet requires additional center support and a maximum height of 12 feet is recommended) Please note: This structure does not provide a safe mounting for lighting fixtures or anything else as it will tend to be top heavy. However, if you fasten it to a wall or other fixed item it provides a safe and secure mount for lighting fixtures and a practical frame for a backdrop curtain.
