POP MPX 6+6 Karaoke CDs

Affectionately known as the 6 plus 6 Pop Series from Chartbuster Karaoke, all cdgs in this 40000 Series have 12 tracks so a karaoke song on track 1 will be repeated on track 7 and a karoke song on track 2 will be repeated on track 8 and so on. One track will have the lead vocal so the disc may be played like a normal CD and by listening to the singer we can learn the phrasing and melody of the karaoke song.

Then when we are comfortable with the song we can switch to the other track which will not have a lead vocal and we can take the place of the lead singer. The vast majority of songs will be recorded with background vocals or perhaps harmonies and in such case, background vocals or harmonies will be on both tracks. The 40000 Series is primarily committed to Pop Music, Rock, Reggae or old standards to name a few and Country Music multiplex can be found on a similar series numbered in the 20000s.

Most of the CDs in this series are what we call an Artist Series meaning they generally have the work of only one artist per karaoke disc.
