Speaker Stands

Do not compare this equipment with the average standard of available speaker stands.Those who have tried to elevate large and heavy speakers know too well the problems associated with using cheap Aluminum and Plastic Speaker Stands.

Throughout the duration of a performance much time is dedicated to monitoring the Stand. Some have been known to collapse under load often causing damage or total destruction of Expensive Speakers and unfortunately, personal injury to persons struck by falling equipment.

This should not come as a surprise to anyone who expects a stand rated for 30 or 40 Kilograms support weight to accommodate the weight of current Powered and Passive Speakers which will often exceed 40 Kilograms.

Safety must also be a consideration for anyone using mounted speakers and/or effects equipment in a Public Venue. Collapsing or tipping stands can result in serious injury to innocent bystanders. A strong, secure and firmly planted stand can often be the difference between safety and tragedy. The wide spread re-enforced tripod base adds stability to the EER-046.
