SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS
Several items in our Inventory are marked SPECIAL ORDER. There are practical & valid reasons for this. One relates to space requirements and another, the vast differences possible accommodating customers specifications for a particular item. This system reduces the end cost to customers willing to wait the few weeks it normally takes to procuretheir specified item. Video Display Screens for example, may be purchased in any number of custom sizes and shapes making it virtually impossible to pre-determine customer needs and retain stock to accommodate. Other items of great value make it cost prohibitive to maintain a complete stock on which interest would have to be paid and that interest would subsequently be paid by the end purchaser. Having these items supplied only when pre-ordered keeps costs down. Stages may be erected in many configurations. A simple stage measuring 3 meters square is comprised of 9 stage components. These components may well be in stock for immediate delivery but a stage that consists of several components including ramps and/or steps and ladders would have to be special ordered. For the most part, special ordered items are supplied within 4 to 6 weeks with no additional costs to the end user and if an end user is prepared to pay the difference between Standard and Air Freight, the Special Order item can usually be delivered sooner. TERMS: A minimum 25% advance payment is required before Special Order Items will be ordered and the balance is to be paid prior to final delivery of the product. We regret not being able to retain sufficient stock of everything to immediately fill all customer requirements but in the interest of our Policy – “We will supply the best quality at the lowest price,” it is essential. |
